Grass Valley Ultra Slow Motion System Cameras
American giants Grass Valley are the world’s second biggest manufacturer of broadcast system cameras, with its LDK-23 MKII taking slow motion camera technology to the next level.
The LDK-23 MKII scans at three times the rate of a standard professional broadcast slow motion camera, so collects much more motion detail within the same timeframe.
And that is not all. To ensure that every detail is preserved, image information is transferred to the CPU of the LDK 23HS mkII via a super wideband triax link, where three time-shifted, standard CCIR 601 triple-scan outputs are generated for direct registration on virtually any disk-based slow-motion system, such as EVS' SLSM package. This provides huge opportunity to add value to coverage on everything from sports events, dance shows and documentaries, making the whole experience more attractive to viewers.
Although optimized for live slow-motion coverage at the highest level, the Grass Valley LDK-23 MKII also works seamlessly with a standard picture output, the sort of in-built flexibility that ensures maximum return on your investment.
When the LDK 23HS mkII operates with other cameras, it can be mixed with either digital or analogue cameras in Series 9000 controlled configurations. The LDK 23HS mkII is a lightweight portable camera, with the quality of a studio camera –particularly when using the unique SuperXPander large-lens adapter. Optional zoomgrip for low angle shooting
With the majority of Gearhouse Broadcast's rental clients being outside broadcast companies and studios, our rental division has added this ground-breaking camera to its product list to ensure we can offer the very latest slow motion camera technology.
