The Installation
These installations consisted of a similar broadcasting infrastructure within the club, including 52 wall boxes and 9 racks of termination and equipment in 3 control rooms.
Crew
The installation of these two sporting venues involved the use of 10 Cable Riggers, 10 Local laborers, 6 Wiremen, 2 Technicians and 2 Engineers.
The Equipment
The equipment installed at these venues included Sony Grade One Monitors, Tektronix Analogue and Digital Waveform Monitors, Leitch Video and Audio Distribution and Conversion Equipment, Bel Audio Monitoring Units, Belden Cables, Fischer Camera Connectors, and again, Custom Wall Box Plates designed by Gearhouse Broadcast.
The infrastructure that Gearhouse Broadcast installed allows any OB company to turn up at the venue and by simply connecting into the OB room, they will be able to cover any multi camera production anywhere in the arena, or cover all events at the same time by using the installed wall boxes throughout the venue. They can also send or receive feeds to and from any of the commentary boxes and utilise the studios by use of the tie lines between the ground and third floor.
